About Fulton Youth Hockey

Fulton Youth Hockey is an all volunteer ice hockey organization that provides affordable ice hockey to Fulton and surrounding areas.

FYHA registration fees are some of the lowest in the area due to the fact that we are an all volunteer organization.

FYHA has an agreement with the City of Fulton to run the Fulton Community Center from October through March each year. During this time FYHA pays for all maintenance, utilities and improvements at the rink.

FYHA also provides the ice for Fulton Figure Skating and the Fulton Red Raider Varsity Hockey team.

FYHA relies on volunteers to run the rink throughout the year. There are no paid employees.

Annual fees paid by members of FYHA to play hockey account for approx. 25-30% of the season operating costs. The rest comes from fundraising, snack bar sales, open skate nights, and ice rentals.

FYHA has a board of directors that coordinates and administers the day to day and year to year operation of the association. The members of the board are elected from the membership and sit for a 3 year term.

Volunteerism is the backbone of the organization. The Zamboni driver, rink cleaner, snack bar attendants etc.etc are all volunteers. It is important that every member lends a helping hand.

Our teams typically play a 30-40 game schedule each year.

FYHA currently plays in the Snowbelt hockey league at the Squirt,Pee Wee ,Bantam and Midget level.  In the event  any level has 2 teams FYHA will play a TIER 3 statebound schedule and a Snowbelt league schedule.

FYHA adheres to and enforces the USA Hockey Zero tolerance program.
