Dec. Player of the Month

Name: Andrew Hyde

FYHA Team: Midget

Position: Defense

About this player:

Andrew stated playing hockey with the Mite program. He has always liked skating but said when a stick and puck were added that sealed the deal in his love for the game. His biggest moment in hockey so far was being part of the penalty kill when it was 5 on 3 in the JAM championship game. Not only did they kill the penalty to send the game to OT, his team won the championship. Andrew is a high honor roll student as well as a member of the Fulton Varsity Cross country team.

Andrew spends part of his summers volunteering for Reach Work camps which helps people in need with home renovations.

You can find Andrew at the hockey rink helping out. He is always willing to lend a hand around the rink. Whether it be emptying garbage or helping with ice maintenance.

Andrew is a valuable member of FYHA for both his on ice and off ice actions. He sets a great example for the FYHA youngest players.

For these reasons Andrew is selected Player of the Month
